Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd is a South African artisan business supplying bespoke handcrafted furniture, solid hardwood products, full-grain leather items and corporate gifts.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 14 working days. Delivery is via courier and will be confirmed with a tracking/booking number. Delivery costs are for the purchaser's account and will be displayed at checkout. Bespoke and oversized items may require alternative delivery arrangements, which will be confirmed with the purchaser directly.
The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
All Root & Rivet products are handcrafted to order. As such, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any items unless the product was damaged during the courier/delivery phase. In the event of courier damage, the purchaser must notify Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd within 7 working days of receipt, with photographic evidence, by emailing jaco@rootandrivet.co.za. Root & Rivet will arrange collection and either repair, replace, or refund the damaged item at its discretion.
Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, and other methods as displayed at checkout. No card details are stored on this website.
All card transactions are processed through Shopify's secure payment gateway using SSL encryption. No card details are stored by Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd.
All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd takes full responsibility for all aspects of transactions concluded on this website, including the sale of goods, customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery arrangements.
This website is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi the Gauteng High Court, Pretoria Division, for all purposes under this agreement.
Root & Rivet (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
